DOWNBOX does not host, store or index media. It acts as a technical intermediary that fetches a file you request from its original source and hands it to you.

Filing a notice

Rights holders can send a takedown notice including the exact URL concerned, proof of ownership, contact details and a good-faith statement. Send it to the copyright address on the contact page.

Our response

Valid notices are handled promptly. Where a platform or specific source is concerned, we can block it at the extraction layer so DOWNBOX no longer processes it.

Repeat infringement

Access patterns associated with repeated infringement may be rate-limited or blocked.
